Today’s Encouragement is, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 ESV
I Live By Faith –
Friends, as God’s chosen and adopted people, we are free from (dead to) our old lives, living by our abilities, thinking, and limited understanding. We are re-created, completely new! (2 Corinthians 5:17). We now live by our supernatural (beyond human power) Faith in Jesus.
This Faith is our utter dependence on Him for our every need, direction, and purpose… for our lives. Jesus isn’t just ‘an important aspect of our life!’ He is everything!
In the past, we may have set Him in a corner of our lives, calling for His help when everything else has failed, like a spare tire. But no more! Today, we can begin the life of Faith again because “His mercies are new every morning!” (Lamentations 3:23). Today, we can choose, once again, to put Him first and to “Live By Faith!”
God doesn’t get angry or frustrated when we fail to follow Him in Faith, although we often do! Instead, God is patient, loving, and forgiving; he “remembers that we are (only) dust” (Psalm 103:14), and Jesus has paid for our complete forgiveness! (Acts 13:38)

Thank You, Father, for allowing us to return to surrender to Jesus and the life of Faith in Him that You have offered us! Help us to return again (and again) to “live by faith in Jesus!”
