He Comforts Us

Today’s Encouragement is, “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT

He Comforts Us – 

In all our troubles! 

He comforts us! 

We can comfort others! 

The same comfort that God has given us!

This verse reveals these astounding truths!  

First, it is God who comforts us. He personally does this! Remember, He is our Savior, Deliverer, Protector and Provider! 

And in ALL our troubles! In every difficulty of our lives, God is our Comforter! (John 14:26)

And we can provide His comfort to others!  

We show our love for God by caring for others! (Hebrews 6:10)

What is this Comfort?

• “We shall always be with the Lord! Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (1Thesalonians 4:17-18 NKJV)
• He will never leave you (John 14:16)
• Jesus said, “But when the Father sends the Advocate (Comforter – KJV) as my representative-that is, the Holy Spirit-he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. “I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:26-27 NLT

Thank You, Father, that among the many descriptions of You (who are truly indescribable) You are our Comforter. Help us to seek You alone for all our comfort.
