Today’s Encouragement is, “‘Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.’ But Moses protested to God, ‘Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?’” Exodus 3:10-11 NLT
Who Am I –
Moses protested! God was speaking to him from a burning bush! And He protested! God appeared to him, spoke clearly to him, and laid out His plan… “But Moses protested”!
We are also like that, aren’t we? We have an indication of what God is leading us to do, but we protest!
Notice God’s response to Moses’ protests… “Who am I? Whom will I say has sent me? They won’t believe me! I’m not eloquent!”
God patiently responded with confident assurances to each of Moses’ objections. And He did not relent! He didn’t give up on Moses and say, “Just forget it, I’ll get someone else.” God called Moses, and despite his protests, God’s calling was fulfilled.
Most of us aren’t called to be the great deliverer of an entire nation of slaves! But we are all called nonetheless… to do, to be, to say… whatever God calls us to!
Does He call each of us to… something? Is He your Father? Were you chosen, adopted, and forgiven by faith in Christ? Does He have good plans for you? Does He desire you to grow in faith? Does He ask you to love others?
Is it time to say “Yes” to Him?
Father, Thank You for Your patience; we are such stumbling sheep. Help us to say “Yes” to You, to the leading of Your Holy Spirit.
I say Yes

“Yes”!
Amen!
