Give Thanks For Everything

Today’s Encouragement is, “And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20 NLT

Give Thanks For Everything –

Each day, I begin my devotional time with God by praying this prayer of thanksgiving.  It applies to each of us who believe, regardless of our circumstances.  It’s all based on His Truth, His Word, and it Never Changes! 

Father God, I thank You that:

I am Your son (daughter) (John 1:12), blood-bought (1 Cor 6:20), sanctified (Heb 10:10), justified (Ro 5:1), made Righteous by the Blood of Jesus (Ro 5.9), and filled with Your Holy Spirit (John 14:16);

•           No weapon formed against me will prevail (Is 54:17); You are my Ever-Present Help in time of trouble (Ps 46:1). You will never leave me nor forsake me (Heb 13:5)

•           You have Good Plans for me, plans to bless me, to give me a hope and a future (Jer 29:11).

•           I am more than a Conqueror (Ro 8:37). I have been given a spirit of power, love, and self-control, and not of fear! (2 Tim 1:7). I have the Mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16). I am the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)

•           Without You, I can do nothing (John 15:5), but I can do all things through Christ who gives me Strength (Phil 4:13).

•           You have called me to feed Your sheep (John 21:17); to be Your ambassador (2 Cor 5:20).

This is Truth!  God’s Word for each of us, Eternal, Unchanging, Irrefutable.  

Thank You, God, for Who You are, what You’ve done, and what You are yet to do! Thank You that we are Yours!
