No Night

Today’s Encouragement is, “Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there.” Revelation 21:25 NLT

No Night – 

In John’s Revelation, there are many amazing mysteries, truths about eternity, the end of the world as we know it, the final and perfectly just, right, and appropriate acts of God in His infinite patience with human beings, and so much more. One of these beautiful mysteries describes the New Jerusalem, The Holy City, which God Himself designs and creates.  This verse is part of that description.  

The gates to every city were closed at the end of every day, just like we lock our homes each night, for some sense of safety.  Because in darkness, in the night, ‘worthless deeds of evil and darkness’ are done (Ephesians 5:11).

Yet there will come a day for all who believe in Jesus as Lord… When there will be No More Night!  

Father God, we thank You for the many wonderful promises of Your Word.  That there will come a time for each of us who trust Jesus to save us, will rest in Your Presence, where there will be – No More Night.
