Right With God

Today’s Encouragement is, “He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.” Romans 4:25 NLT

Right With God –

Did Jesus Fail?  Ever? Was His life on earth a failure? Was His death a failure? Did He fail to achieve anything He determined to do? 

We may not know or fully comprehend everything He did or accomplished in those few years… but by faith, we are assured – He Finished Everything! Perfectly! 

He was, still is, the Final and Perfect sacrifice for all our sin, for all time, for all who believe in Him.

Remember His final words, It. Is. Finished. (John 19:30) 

What was finished? Everything God intended!

It isn’t our self-confidence, wisdom, or anything of ‘ours!’  He accomplished everything.  He – Finished – Everything.  

So, since we are confident that He didn’t fail at all, that He was successful, completely and perfectly… then…my friend, We are – Right with God! 

Now, do we believe it? 

This is one of those things that, if we don’t believe it, if we don’t think that Jesus died to make us right with God… then we aren’t! Because it is our faith in Him that transforms His every promise into reality. 

We simply believe!   And We Are Right with God.  

There is no shame, guilt, imperfection, or missing pieces!  It isn’t our efforts or striving to be good… nothing but faith in Jesus makes us Right with God. 

Father God, help us understand, believe, and rest in the finished work of Jesus, and that He has made us Right With You, now and eternally.  Thank You for Jesus!
