Because You Believe

Today’s Encouragement is, “I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.” Galatians 3:5 NLT

Because You Believe – 

It is not our works, efforts, or obedience to the instructions, laws, and wisdom of God’s Word but our Faith in Jesus that opens the door for God’s Spirit to live in us and for Him to work miracles among us. 

It is – because we believe in Jesus! 

And what we believe matters most, more than what we do, think, or say. 

“We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 15:11 NLT

Please don’t fall into the trap of believing that you have to be good enough, obey everything, and meet God’s impossible standards in order to earn His Grace, His Holy Spirit, or His miraculous power.   It is our Faith that allows us to receive all that His amazing Grace offers us.  

Some may try to convince us that only good people deserve His amazing blessings… only the “Really Good Christians.“  His gifts, the Holy Spirit residing in us, His miracles, and His greatest gift, salvation and eternal life… belong to … those who believe!  

God, our loving Father, Your kindness and love are immeasurable. That you would give all Your amazing gifts of Grace to anyone and everyone who believes… is more than we can comprehend. Thank You for Your Amazing Love.
