But With God

Today’s Encouragement is, “Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.’” Matthew 19:26

But With God –

Today’s verse is another foundational truth – “With God, everything is possible.” God is Omnipotent, which means All-Powerful, Almighty.  He can do anything (some qualify this with – “except, He will not be untrue to Himself, His nature”). 

We humans often try to reduce our concept of God to someone, something we can understand or wrap our minds around.  This idea has a limited value.  We do need to have some understanding of His nature and His heart… in fact, this very need is addressed by God… He sent His Son to this earth so that we might understand His nature (John 14:9).

And He is unlimited!  We err greatly when we think God can’t, won’t, doesn’t, or wouldn’t… but He cannot be limited in any way!

My Friend – Nothing is impossible for Him!  No one is too far gone. No miracle is too great. No problem is too difficult.   Not for God! Not for our Father, who loves us more than we can imagine!

So, my friend, Pray Big!  Pray boldly, for you are an adopted child of God Almighty, the creator of all things, who does as He chooses, and He still, and always, listens to the prayers of His dearly loved people. 

Thank You, Father, for loving us and allowing us to come to you with any and every need.  We look to You and choose to put our hope and trust in You.
