Today’s Encouragement is, “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.” Galatians 5:1 NLT
Stay Free –
Did you see it? The verse? The tense. Christ HAS, already Now – Truly, Completely, Perfectly… Set us FREE!
From what?
Everything! Every expectation! Every Rule! Every Obligation! Every Failure! Everything in our past!
Free!
Let that sink in for a minute…
We are always too quick to add… “But…”
The “But” is from us, from our human limitations… God has no Buts in the Freedom He has given to all who believe in Jesus!
And “Stay Free” – We are set free… we must then Stay Free. This is our choice. How? By continuing to focus on His Truth, His finished work… which has already bought for us, forever, our Freedom!
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 ESV
Thank You, Jesus, for setting us free! Help us now to Stay Free by Your strength, power, and grace.
