Today’s Encouragement is, “And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: ‘Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.’” Revelation 5:13 NLT
They Sang –
Whatever you may be going through, pain or comfort, sorrow or joy, confusion or contentment… it is just a season. Our earthly lives are only the dash between our birth and our death. All our possessions, relationships, wealth, poverty, and physical health … are transient, fleeting, and – for a season.
But-
We have Eternal Life! This is the gift of God for all who believe in His Son Jesus. His Grace gives it, and no one could ever earn His Grace!
If this earthly life, which seems so real to us today, with all its realities, pain, strife, heartbreak, joy, pleasure, and hope… is transient and momentary… then what is real? What is eternal? What truly matters?
The Kingdom of God is Real. It is Eternal. And this is our destination; this is our Home.
And in this Kingdom, God sits on His throne, with Jesus beside Him.
And the season of life we are experiencing right now will pass away, as will our earthly lives, and we will always be with Him, in Perfect Peace, singing His praises.
We have a thousand questions about this… but this is God’s Word. We cannot explain it, but we can choose to believe.
Father, thank You for the Bible. Help us choose to trust You – regardless of our questions, human logic, or reason. For Your ways and Your thoughts are not ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
