Let God Transform You –
When we choose, on our own volition, to make a change, to lose weight, stop smoking or some other bad habit or addiction, or even change careers… we take a long time and consider multiple factors before making these decisions.
But the change that God brings is different! He is the Creator; He calls things into being that are not (1 Corinthians 1:28). He needs no permission, no pre-authorization to cause us to be changed.
Consider John 3:16. How many people hearing and choosing to believe these few words… have been transformed into new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17).
And the Bible is full of such ‘change’ words… transforming words.
Jesus is the Word, and in His identity, He is the Word of God in human form (John 1:1). We certainly understand and believe that He can and does transform, change, and create anew all who believe in Him.
God transforms us through His Word. Jesus does, always for those who are called and who choose to believe; God’s word, as the Bible, also can, and will change, all those who believe.
Our part, my friend, is to believe… to choose to trust the Word, and then act upon it, rely on, yes, even to stake our lives upon… His Word. And in doing so. We are transformed, changed, and reborn… new creations in Christ!
Father God, this walk of faith is such a mystery, so amazing and overwhelming… yet we would not have it any other way. You made it simple yet astounding, for You designed it all!
