Never Give Up –
We might be tempted to give up on our prayers at times. Seeing little to no results for weeks, months, or years… we are such impatient creatures!
Jesus knows us! And so He gave us this amazing, surprising, and reassuring parable (Luke 18:1-8) so that we too would pray… and never give up!
My friend, there are many things that we need to give up, but faith in God, Hope in Christ, and prayer are not among them!
Prayer is walking by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Prayer is our unique privilege as God’s people. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Every word of our prayer is precious to God; He hears every prayer. (Matthew 7:8)
We believe these truths by faith, even when we do not see our expected results!
Now, if we ask, and we believe He hears, and we trust that He is Good, and we recognize that He decides when, where, and how He acts… then my friend, we can trust Him to answer… our every prayer… in His way, His timing, in His perfect Wisdom and Love.
Whatever you are praying for… trust Him! He hears, He knows, and He will answer!
Father God, we thank You for the privilege of prayer! We long to hear from you in response to our prayers, so please give us persistence and patience. Deepen our faith, we pray.
