Our Father –
We may have heard these words so often that the full impact may have become lost. Our: we are His family, brothers and sisters. Father: He is the source of our lives; we exist because of His will.
He is our Perfect Father, offering us Perfect Love that is unconditional, unchanging, and unwavering. His love provides protection, guidance, provision, wisdom, strength, assurance, acceptance, and everything we need and desire from a father – He is!
Earthly fathers may have failed, disappointed, neglected, or even harmed us, but God has not, can not, and will not. He is Perfect in every way, including Perfect Father. Please don’t let your experience or concepts of Our Father God be tainted by or limited to your earthly biological father.
Our Father, we thank You for adopting us as Your deeply loved children. Help us to understand, accept, and rest within Your father-heart of Perfect Love for us.
