Today’s Encouragement is, “And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.” 2 Corinthians 1:10 NLT
He will Rescue –
Do you hear the confidence, the assurance in this statement? He did, He will, and He will continue to… rescue us!
This is not a one-time event, but a recurring theme in the Bible – God Rescues, over and over again!
Consider just a few examples: the nation of Israel from slavery, Daniel from the lions, David from Goliath, Peter from sinking, Lazarus from the grave, not to mention the healings, the spiritual rescue from darkness into His light…
Jesus Saves! He has, He does now, and He always will. That’s kinda the reason we call Him – Savior.
Whatever it is, my friend, whatever bothers, scares, annoys, intimidates, plagues, looms, lurks, threatens, persecutes, or threatens you in any way… Jesus Saves!
And once we believe this, and we practice, by faith, trusting Him to Save us, from whatever, whenever, and however… We can rest in Him, at peace, confident that He will rescue us.
Father God, help us to fully place all our confidence in You, knowing and trusting that You have already, and will continue to rescue us! We thank You for always caring for us, our every need, so generously and mercifully.
