Today’s Encouragement is, “We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!” Luke 15:32 NLT
But now he is found –
In Luke 15, Jesus shares 3 parables with the religious leaders. One about a lost sheep, searched for, found, and celebrated; then a lost coin, also searched for, found, and celebrated; and finally, a lost son… but this one – was not searched for. Instead, the son was waited for, watched for, because the son has the power of choice… to rebel against the father or to choose redemption by returning to the father.
In all 3 parables… the end result… there was great rejoicing!
God rejoices!!!
He’s not just happy, he’s overjoyed! He doesn’t just celebrate, He throws a grand, extravagant party!
And my friend, the same celebration occurs each time one of God’s people returns to Him! Every time we choose, with our own free will… to return to Him, to His ways, His Will, His protection and provision. God Celebrates!
Father God, we can’t thank you enough for Your love. How amazing that You love us so much that You celebrate our return to You. Your amazing Love humbles us!
