Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 23:1 NLT The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
All That I Need –
As you read God’s word, please recognize that it is His gift to you, an eternal priceless gift given to you by your Father who loves you. It is His Voice, speaking to each of us, His dearly loved people, as individuals.
And God says to us in this familiar psalm, “I am all you need. I will provide you with food, water, rest, peaceful sleep, and my protection when you go through difficult times. I am with you always.”
We have the choice to listen, to truly hear, and then to believe Him, to trust that He IS and that He will fulfill all His promises – or we can doubt and choose not to believe Him. The decision is ours. God always respects our freedom to choose!
We can always choose to turn to Him. He is never put out with us, disappointed or resentful; he remembers that we are dust (Psalm 103:14).
He is All that we need! We can look to Him, depend on Him, trust Him, believe Him, rest in Him! He told us to follow Him and leave it all to Him because He is all that we need!
Father, please help us know, be confident, assured, and unwavering in our trust and faith in You, in Jesus, Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit. Because You truly are All That We Need.
