Everyone who Believes
Do you know the difference between Christians and non-Christians? It’s only this one thing. We believe in Jesus.
We identify ourselves with Jesus Christ. We choose to believe in Jesus and trust Him to save us. Those who don’t believe, who don’t trust in Jesus, are not saved by Him.
You may think, “Ok, I knew all that… What is so encouraging about this?”
Just This – We are His!
Because He has called and invited us (Matthew 22:14), we have said, “Yes, Lord, I believe!”
Friend, our faith, our belief, and our trust in Him bring us into His kingdom and His family (Matthew 12:50).
Not our words, actions, sinlessness, or external behavior. When we believe in Him, these things will change as we mature spiritually, but our belief in Jesus determines where we stand with God. This is the dividing line.
And our faith is His gift! (Eph 2:8) so we cannot brag about being His; rather, we are humbled and grateful to be His!
Thank You, Father, for allowing us to be Yours for eternal life and for giving us faith in Jesus.
