Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 42:7-8 “Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. By day the LORD commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.”
Waterfall –
Can you imagine yourself standing under a waterfall? But not of water – instead, a waterfall of God’s Love.
In the abundant, cleansing flow of Truth from God’s Word, we can experience His Love and His Blessing pouring over us like a waterfall – providing the same refreshing, renewing, and rebirth for our tired and weary souls.
The following prayer contains refreshing truths from God’s word about who you are in Christ. Read this prayer of gratitude out loud, and hear it with your ears, heart, mind, and spirit. My friend, you can choose to stand under this waterfall anytime.
Father God, I thank You that:
- I am Your son (or daughter), and I’m blood-bought, sanctified, and justified; filled with Your Holy Spirit and made Righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ.
- You have chosen me to be Your adopted son (daughter), and no weapon formed against me will prevail.
- You are my Ever-Present Help in times of trouble; You will never leave me nor forsake me.
- You have good plans for me, to bless me, and give me hope and a future.
- I am more than a Conqueror; I have been given a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I have the Mind of Christ.
- Without You, I can do nothing, But I can do all things through Christ who gives me Strength.
I pray this in Jesus’ Name.
