Today’s Encouragement is Romans 3:22 NLT We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
Everyone Who Believes –
We are Believers… the people who put our faith and hope in Jesus Christ. We don’t do anything perfectly; we all stumble at times but continue to return to this simple, clear, yet incredibly powerful decision. We choose to place our faith in Jesus.
No other decision matters. No other options, choices, mistakes, or alternatives compare to this one thing. And since we have already placed our faith in Jesus… we are now assured of several wonderful results! Here are just a few…
Mark 11:24 NLT We can pray for anything and receive it.
John 11:40 NLT We will see God’s Glory.
John 3:15 NLT We have eternal life.
Romans 3:22 NLT We are made right with God.
Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT God’s power is for us.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 NLT His word continues to work in us.
And, of course, there is much, much more!
Please don’t get hung up on perfect belief; remember this honest declaration – Mark 9:24 NLT ”I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”
Yet, my friend, we must also “believe right.” Believing a lie is obviously not going to end well! For this reason, we read, study, and treasure God’s word… it contains His Truth. In his excellent and transformative book, The Power of Right Believing, Joseph Prince outlines this principle in depth.
Father God, You have given us so much simply because we believe in Jesus and because You love us. For all You have provided, please also give us grateful hearts.
