Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 3:17 NLT Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
Make His Home –
In the incredible prayer for all believers in Ephesians 3:16-21, we glimpse some of God’s greatest blessings.
After God empowering us through His Spirit (v16), then, Jesus makes His Home in us!
He comes to live, eat, rest, relax with us! It’s not a workplace to Him where he’s busy and distracted… We are His Home!
Remember Jesus’ friends, Lazarus, Mary and Martha? He loved them and enjoyed being at their home. Now, imagine Him being in your home, but even more… in you, as His Home, no condemnation, only acceptance and love.
And then your roots will grow into God’s love… imagine that! Your roots, the source of your strength and nourishment are embedded in God’s Love! And this will keep us strong!
This is just too much!
We are empowered with inner strength…
from His riches… (v16)
Christ at home in our hearts…
Our lives are rooted in God’s love…
To keep us strong! (v17)
His Words, not mine!
But wait! There’s more!
Tune in tomorrow!
Father God, please allow us, your struggling, stumbling sheep to lift our hearts and minds to this highest truth, You have immeasurable blessings in store for us as we grow in faith! You inspire us with this truth as we go about our ordinary lives today… with Your extraordinary plans for us. Help us also to remember, what we see now… is not all there is…
