Today’s Encouragement is 2 Peter 1:3 NLT By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
Everything We Need –
We now, already, have everything we need… (His words not mine!)
What do you feel like you need? What are you seeking, praying for? Will you be incomplete until you have this? Until this prayer is answered?
Perhaps you’re thinking, “If Only I could have…” Inner peace, victory over your problems, better job, bigger house, more money, recognition, rest, healing… the list is probably endless.
Yet my friend, step into the eternal perspective for just a brief moment and consider… God has already given us, everything we need…
Through Faith in Jesus, we have:
Eternal Life (we have been made immortal!),
Forgiveness of all our wrongs,
Rebirth to a New Life,
His Hope,
His Love…
this list is also endless…
Is it possible that – we are now… already… Complete in Christ? We need nothing else but Christ.
Father God, open our eyes to the immeasurable blessings which You have, through Jesus, already given to us… and to think… there is still more to come! Thank You Father for creating within us, a hunger for You. And for satisfying that hunger with Jesus. He has already given us Your Love, Grace, and Your Holy Spirit living within us. We are Complete in You!
