Today’s Encouragement is Titus 3:10-11 NLT If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.
Nothing to do –
We are called to love others, to forgive others, just as God has forgiven us. But – we are not called to be abused, to submit to repetitive, verbal, physical, emotional, or any other type of abuse!
Now, We must forgive! It’s essential to our right relationship with God! (Matt 6:15)
And you can love a person and even pray for them… but still stay away from them (Have nothing to do with them.) because of their behavior, their sinful, destructive, divisive behavior.
When we have forgiven them, and when we can pray for them to be blessed by God (Matt 5:44) then we can become free from the harm they’ve done to us…
You may think, “But they are family!” My friend, we are a part of God’s family now, and our biological family is no longer influential in our identity… our brothers and sisters in Christ are our true family. Sadly, our biological family may not be believers, and our familial love for them can become a dangerous trap. We must separate ourselves from anyone, including our earthly family (Matt 12:50), who would separate us from Jesus.
Father, we need Your wisdom to determine which relationships are spiritually nurturing and which are destructive and toxic. Help us to love, forgive, and separate ourselves from anyone who has “turned away from the truth”, so that we truly live in the freedom which You have provided for us.

Had a conversation with a friend about this yesterday. Doesn’t God have great timing. I sent this to her today. Thanks for the encouragement every morning 🌄

Thank you! Yes! God does that! He knows our needs and He loves to bless us what what we need! Even when we don’t expect it!
