Today’s Encouragement is 1 Peter 5:7 NLT Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
He Cares About You –
What a thought! God cares about… me? Doesn’t He need to be focused on more important things like… arranging the weather, political upheaval, and well, running the universe?
Think about the life of Jesus. We have a record of some of His preaching, dealing with a group of people, feeding five thousand, but consider… He always interacted with individuals – one on one… like Zacchaeus, the woman at the well, the leper, his disciples, Nicodemus… the list of individuals whom He spoke with, face to face, is very long! And He cared about each one! And He still does!
A great theologian was once asked if he would summarize his beliefs in one sentence, he replied… “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.”
Jesus… the Son of God… King of Kings… Lord of Lords…
Loves…
You…
So, because He cares for us – we can give all our worries and our cares to Him!
Father God, once again, You bless us so – with so much – but especially with the incredible gift of Your love and care for us. Thank You for loving and caring for me!
