Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 3:20 NLT Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Infinitely more –
Paul writes these encouraging words as he concludes his wonderful prayer. As if saying to us, to himself, and acknowledging before God. You can do anything!
As if Paul is saying, “This is my prayer, and I know, I believe, I am confident that You can do all I ask… even infinitely more than I can ask… even more than I could even imagine!”
A big word is often used to describe God (as if any words we have could begin to describe His greatness!) and that word is Omnipotent. It means All-powerful.
Now we can ask and imagine some pretty great stuff! And you know what? He can do infinitely more …
My friend, do not hold back, do not try to limit your prayer to what you think God might be willing… or able to do… He is unlimited…
Remember He told us to Ask, Seek and Knock.
And the best part is… He knows – absolutely, without any question, exactly what is best for us.
So, Ask Him! Pray! He can do anything we can ask or imagine… and infinitely more! Trust Him to do what is best! And then Rest in what He provides!
Father, please open our spiritual eyes to have just a glimpse of You, how great, how powerful, and how loving You are. Oh… but You already have… because as we look at Jesus, we see this glimpse of You.
