Glory To God

Today’s Encouragement is Luke 2:13-14 ESV And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

Glory To God –

There are so many astounding truths in the Bible!  The many miracles of the Old Testament, the birth of Christ, His life, His miracles, his death, burial, and resurrection… and the arrival of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the acts of the apostles, the letters to the churches… I could go on and on (obviously).

Yet among the many wondrous works of God recorded for us and for all time, is the greatest…

the Incarnation…

the arrival, in human form, of God Himself, Jesus the Christ.

Prophesied centuries before, then prophesied by angels to his mother and her husband, heralded by angelic choirs, hinted of through the stars to far-distant wise men… this glorious moment in time,

when heaven held its breath…

Christ is Born.

God with man.

God with us.

Immanuel.

Our only appropriate response? Adoration! To Adore Him!

Father, with humbled hearts, we Adore You.

Adore (this is a wonderful worship song!)
