Today’s Encouragement is Luke 1:41-45 NLT At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Elizabeth gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, “God has blessed you above all women, and your child is blessed. Why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should visit me? When I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb jumped for joy. You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.”
Because You Believed –
Two women brought together by the Holy Spirit, and two infants in their wombs, all communed and rejoiced at what God had done and was about to do.
Notice Elizabeth’s words… you (Mary) are blessed because you believed the Lord. This is true for us my friend… we too are blessed when we choose to believe Him.
Thank You Lord that You direct our steps, You guide each of us in life, You speak to us in Your still, small voice and You are working everything together for the good of Your beloved children. You are so good.
