Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 105:1 NLT Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
What He has Done –
When we are desperate, in serious need of God’s help, we cry out for Him. “Please save me!” …from whatever we are facing. It may be a minor embarrassment or a life-threatening event… but we are shouting for His rescue!
And then, when we are rescued… relief sets in, the battle is over, we can breathe and relax again… then it’s time my friend to return to Him and praise Him for His mercy!
Too often we are very quick to cry out for help… and very slow to return to Him with gratitude.
Like When Jesus healed ten lepers (Luke 17:12-19) only one of them returned with thankfulness… Only this man’s heart was touched, he was transformed, the others were merely… healed.
I’ll take transformation, please and thank you.
And the difference is… simply gratitude, recognizing that it is Christ who Heals.
When we’re grateful, it’s impossible to not express this appreciation for God’s goodness. We must tell what He Has Done!
Now we do so with wisdom, recognizing that others may not believe or accept that it is God who heals, delivers, transforms… yet we know! We experienced it, we lived through it!
Father Help us to be grateful for Your Transforming Power in our lives. Help us then to Let the whole world know what You have done!
