Today’s Encouragement is Romans 5:1 NLT Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Peace With God –
We have – now, already –
Peace.
With.
God.
What does that look like?
Is it possible that Peace with God means:
We are comfortable in His Presence.
We feel no shame (because Jesus has paid the price).
We clearly sense and understand His immeasurable Love for us.
He loves us as individuals, not only as His people, but as individual sons and daughters, each one of us unique (as He designed) in appearance, personality, talents, and strengths.
We are fully known, fully forgiven, fully Loved.
He steps down from His throne, as the father of the prodigal did, and comes to us, embraces us and rejoices that we are with Him… God rejoices! He is delighted in you! He is immeasurably in Love with you! You are His, by His selection!
Father God, we can see from Your Word that these things are Truth! Yet our human frailties get in the way of our acceptance of, and confidence in, the unbelievable blessing of – being Yours! Help us accept and believe, and Know … that we are Truly Yours, Truly Forgiven, Truly Loved.
