Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 2:6 (NLT) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
We are Seated with Christ –
(Continuing – Who I am in Christ)
Another amazing attribute we have as believers in Jesus… We get seats of honor in heavenly realms… with Jesus! Now, I don’t know how this happens … I just trust what the Bible says, even when I don’t understand it. (I must recognize that my human mind can’t conceive of the immensity of God’s reality… I don’t ‘understand Him’! I don’t even understand myself, or you… how can I expect to understand God? Yet I choose to trust Him, based on the limited, but fully adequate understanding of Him that I do have… in Christ. Jesus said, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” John 14:9.
And I choose to believe what He has said to us in the Bible that He has provided… about who we are in Christ!
And here Paul writes to the church, we are – raised from the dead… we have now, already, New Life in Christ!
We are now, already, seated with Him in heavenly places!
These and all of God’s amazing blessings are ours… because of our Faith in Jesus. This is not anything we can earn… but God’s gift to His dearly loved people.
Father, Thank You for the amazing blessings that You have already given and that You plan to give to Your people, sons and daughters which You have chosen to be Your own. That we would be seated with Jesus, is infinitely beyond our comprehension, yet we accept, embrace this truth by our simple faith.
