Today’s Encouragement is 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 ESV All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
Ministers of Reconciliation –

Wait, What? Me? A Minister? I don’t have a degree in Ministry (well, maybe some do…)
But who gives this assignment? Who makes us His ministers? Is it a university, a denomination, some person or organization, or is it God Himself? Who you gonna believe?
God lives in and through human beings, sinners who have been reborn into the perfection of Jesus Christ, to do His work. And here we see that His work is reconciling people to Him. Bringing His Love, Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Eternal Life… to those we encounter day by day…
This is our (every believers) Ministry of Reconciliation!
And He empowers us to be who He says we are, whom He has called us to be… His Ministers of Reconciliation.
We are Peacemakers, bringing this message to the world. You can be reconciled, at perfect peace, with God through Jesus Christ. No more guilt, condemnation, shame… no more death!
Father God, empower us through Your Holy Spirit to be…
all that You have said we are…
including your representatives, ambassadors, ministers of reconciliation.
