Today’s Encouragement is Philippians 4:6 NLT Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
And Thank Him –
Want to be free from the curse of fear and worry? It is a crippling condition, to be held by the neck… by icy hand of death… to be anxious, worried, fearful… all this is exactly where the enemy of our souls wants us… but this is not how our Father God desires that His dearly loved people will live.
This powerful truth says:
Don’t worry – choose another path, decide you will not… worry about any-thing-at-all-at-any-time-for-any-reason!
Instead – turn your back on worry… and Pray – turn to God in faithful, trusting, prayer and ask for whatever you need!
And then – Thank Him! For all He has… already… done!
Once in prayer, I asked, “Father, please forgive me for this sin.” And He spoke to my spirit, “I already have.” I asked, “Give me the strength to resist temptation.” He whispered, “My son, I already have.” I said, “Already?” And He answered, “Jesus’ work was perfect.” And then I remembered that, through Christ, I am righteous, forgiven, and a new creation, given every spiritual gift, an adopted son of the Living God!
I Already Am!
And my friend, the only reasonable response to this… Is Thankfulness! A heart of sincere Gratitude for the immeasurable gift of God’s Grace.
Father, we so often ask You for what You have already provided us… Help us to see with spiritual eyes, to realize with our redeemed minds, the incredible gifts that You have already given us. That we may be genuinely thankful.
