Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 2:18 NLT Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.
Come To The Father –
(continuing – Who I Am in Christ)
As adopted sons and daughters of the Living God, bought by the precious blood of Jesus, cleansed, and made saints by our faith in Him… all of us can come to the Father… through the Holy Spirit… because of Christ Jesus.
We come to God our Father, our Daddy, without shame, without fear, without regret for all our sin, (He has chosen to forget all our sin!). Instead of fear, Ephesians 3:12 (NLT) “Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.
‘We may not “feel” like we are worthy to come to God and on our own, we aren’t worthy! “But God!” has made a way – Jesus alone is worthy to come to God. So, we are able to come to God, freely and boldly, through faith in Jesus. And the Holy Spirit that lives within all of us as believers, draws us to Him.
Lord God, help us have the courage to come to You with every need, every fear, and every hope… as our Loving Father. You can do anything… and we can do nothing without You. We believe in Jesus, so we come to you in confident hope in Him.
