Today’s Encouragement is 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT) All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.
Christ’s Body –
(continuing – Who I Am in Christ)
Together we are… and each of us is a part of… Christ’s body.
There are several references to this Truth.
- Stones built together as His temple. 1 Peter 2:5
- Varying members of the body with different functions, but still – one body. 1 Corinthians 12:13-27
- Jesus prayed that we would be one with Him and that He would be in us. John 17:21
As with most of God’s Truths, we may not see it, understand it fully, nor feel it… but we can choose to believe, and to live according to that faith… not according to our limited sight, understanding, or emotions.
Father, help us to become more aware of our unity with Jesus and our brothers and sisters in Christ. And for this incredibly beautiful Truth, along with all Your plentiful and unlimited gifts, we say Thank You. You are so good to us.
