Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 5:25b-26 NLT … as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.
The Cleansing of God’s Word –
God’s Word cleanses!
Because God is unlimited in power, omnipotent… He can use anything He chooses to bring about His will. This is powerful imagery – the washing and cleansing of our minds, bodies, and souls – by the word of God.
One word can accomplish this cleansing… Jesus! And all that He is! And yet we are also blessed by considering the cleansing shower of God’s many words about us, His chosen people…
This list is like a waterfall of cleansing words… refreshing our spirits and minds with the purity and truth of what God’s Word says about you and me, as believers in Jesus.
As you listen to this video, a list of biblical truths of who we are in Christ, please agree and accept each truth into your heart with a simple, “Yes Lord.” And with thankfulness.
Father God, we thank you for this waterfall of Your cleansing Word. Help us to stand in it, and be cleansed, refreshed, and reborn by bathing in the truth of who You say we are in Christ!
