Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 119:10 ESV With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
I seek You –
What does it mean to Seek God? Ever thought about it? Ever tried it? Ever been focused on this idea? “Well, that’s fine for some who have the time, but I’m way too busy!” Friend, what exactly is it, that is more important than seeking God?
Matthew 7:8 (NLT) 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
We’re assured that we will find Him if we seek Him.
So, How do we seek Him?
First Pray! This is how we can do all things through Christ… by asking God in prayer. So, simply Ask Him to help you seek Him. Decide to look for His hand at work in every area of your life, in small things and big things. Search for His presence – in surprising ways – which you might have overlooked – if you weren’t seeking.
Father God, Is it possible that…
The more I obey You, the more I see Your Hand at work.
The more I strive for obedience to the leading of Your Holy Spirit, the more I hear from the Holy Spirit.
The more I think or act in accordance with Your Word, the stronger and clearer Your Word becomes.
And, The More I seek You… the more I find You.
The More I Seek You
