Today’s Encouragement is John 20:31 ESV But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
That You May Believe –
This is what it’s all about my friend… believing.
We have overwhelming evidence of God’s Love for us. A collection of ancient writings we call the Bible, years of examples of the belief, the faith, of our ancestors, reflected in cathedrals and the centuries of history of the Christian church, archeological evidence of the accuracy of the Bible record, a myriad of hymns and songs proclaiming the message, stories of the lives and deaths of those who came before us… all this… simply so that you may believe…
And when anyone chooses to say, “Yes Lord, I believe!” – that one is given life in His name!
Father God, help us believe! Help us return to our belief to reaffirm today our belief in Jesus, Your Son, and so, to have life in Your Name.
