Today’s Encouragement is Isaiah 2:3a NLT People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.”
Walk in His Paths –
We go to God’s house, the church, and to His Word, the Bible… in order to learn His ways so that we can walk in His paths.
Consider God’s great kindness to us. He has provided a place, the church, as diverse as His people are, where we can gather and learn from His Word. A place to come together to worship and learn from Him.
And He has provided for us an amazing, comprehensive, powerful, wise, even supernatural book… filled with ‘His ways’! It contains the wisdom of how we are to live, things to avoid, things to embrace… the wisdom of God Himself! No people of any age has had more access to God’s Church and His Truth, “His ways” … than we do today!
My friend, no church is perfect, yet we can learn God’s ways in most any church… and when we learn His ways, He strengthens us to walk in His paths.
And there is no better place to walk… than In His Paths!
Father God, thank You for providing us with Your church and Your Word so that we might learn to Walk in Your Paths. Help us say “No” to this world, and “Yes” to You!
