Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 139:16 NLT You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Before I Was Born –
Let this truth sink in for just a moment.
Before you and I were born…
Now consider:
Matthew 22:14 NLT “For many are called, but few are chosen.” And
Ephesians 2:8 NLT “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”
God has chosen you! It is His Gift, not something you did. And my friend, when did this occur, when did God choose you???
Before you were born…
We tend to believe, from our limited human perspective, that at the time we chose to accept Jesus as our Savior, that’s when God chose us… almost as if He didn’t know us before that time.
Not true! Before we were formed, He chose us; every moment of our lives – He knows!
Today, I can remember several moments in my life, before I accepted Christ, and now, I can clearly see, by faith, His Hand at work in my life at that time. He has always known us my friend, and He always will.
Father God, Your great Love for us is difficult to understand. Yet we can see it clearly when we look to the cross and see the unimaginable price You paid to set us free, to make us Yours. Thank You for Your Perfect Love.
Goodness Of God – (All my life – You have been faithful)
