Today’s Encouragement is 1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
A Way Out –
In God’s word deep and powerful truth resides, but we must listen to His voice speaking to our hearts, our souls… in order to recognize His Truth. Like savoring fine food, we can read and absorb slowly to enjoy the depth of His Truth.
“No different” – our struggles are all the same! We all struggle with some type of sin, there are too many options to name here! The enemy of our souls, the liar, and accuser would have us think we are alone, the worst hypocrite, pretending to be Christ followers, but secretly sin-filled liars. But, he is the liar! We are, in truth, cleansed from all sin, past present, and future – Only by faith in Jesus.
“God is faithful”- always, eternally!
“He will show you a way out!” As this song says… “He makes a way where there ain’t no way!”
Friend, God is your loving Father, and He is personally, intricately involved and invested in you! His Love is that great, that powerful, and that personal!
Father God, help us to recognize, ever more clearly, how close You truly are… living within us, constantly making us new, clean, and forgiven, guiding us and making a way for us… because You love us immeasurably!
