Today’s Encouragement is Ezekiel 11:19 ESV And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,
One heart –
This ‘one heart’, and the ‘new spirit’ are God’s heart, His Holy Spirit within us. As King David was a man after Gods heart (Acts 13:22)… so are we, as believers in Christ…
“But wait! I don’t feel that way!” “If that was true, why do I still fall into sin?” We ask many such probing questions.
Remember that God’s truth is still true whether we believe it or not, whether we apply it to our lives or not. Whether we choose to invest ourselves, rely on, and trust in that truth or not. Many people do choose to ignore God’s truth. What is your decision?
Father, we need You to draw us closer to Yourself and to Your truth. Our hearts are weak and unfaithful until You replace our hardened hearts with a heart of flesh. Transform and change our hearts, Oh God.
