Today’s Encouragement is Matthew 13:16 NLT “But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
Blessed are your eyes –
Many have seen and heard the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, many people over the centuries. Yet, many did not accept, believe, nor understand! Even in His few days on earth, many people saw Him do miracles, heard His Truth, even experienced His Presence… yet still didn’t believe!
Matthew 13:11 NLT “He replied, ‘You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.’”
My friends, do you understand the incredible blessing we have? We are among those who have been given the blessing of seeing and hearing His Truth! We accept and understand! We are cleansed and forgiven! We are redeemed by His blood to live Eternal Life! No weapon formed against us shall succeed!
This is not because we are smart, wise, good-looking, or in any way deserving… but it is a Gift which God has granted to us… We are permitted (Matt. 13:11), chosen (Matt. 22:14), and given (Eph. 2:8)!
Father we cannot adequately express our gratitude for Your kindness to us! Help us to realize how truly blessed we are by Your Grace. You have been so Good! And You always will be! Thank You Lord!
