Today’s Encouragement is Hebrews 11:1a NLT Faith shows the reality of what we hope for.
What we Hope For –
Hebrews 11 is often called, ‘The Faith Chapter’. Offering many perspectives, examples, and ideas about Faith.
Our Faith makes little sense to the world; to those who live by only what they can see, touch, and experience. Our Faith only makes sense when we choose to believe in God as He is revealed by the Bible.
Let’s examine this verse:
‘Faith is the reality’ –
Two odd words to put together don’t you think? Faith and Reality? Our earthly-minded world would say those are opposite concepts! But God! He says that our Faith is what determines Reality, not the other way around!

‘Of what we hope for’ –
Again, contrary to the logical mind of this world… the hope we have, in the view of this world, is only a dream, a wish… it has no connection to reality – in the eyes of this world. But God says… Faith IS the Reality… of whatever we, as believers in Christ, Hope For!
Father God, we choose to believe, to have this Faith, so that our Hope is also our Reality. We choose to Trust You… above the things of this world. You alone are Truth. You are Reality. You are Eternal. We place our Faith in You alone.
