Today’s Encouragement is Galatians 5:1 (NLT) So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.
Truly set us Free –
Christ has set you FREE. Already. Done Deal. His work is perfect, not incomplete, not partially free, not sorta free… not maybe someday free… but totally, completely, perfectly FREE, Already! Notice the rest of the verse? … keep standing firm… don’t become subject AGAIN to slavery?
What have you been freed from? How are you standing Firm? Are you refusing to become a slave again to sin, shame, guilt, doubt, failure, hopelessness? Or are you sliding into those chains once more… Christ has done the hard part, we just need to Believe and to KEEP STANDING FIRM… in faith, trusting His complete redemption and deliverance. The Freedom He provides is always there… it’s real. We just have to stand firm in it!
And should we ever leave it, we can return… it’s up to us.
Jesus never fails. We only need to trust in His finished work… stand Firm in Him.
