Today’s Encouragement is Romans 8:38 NLT And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
Nothing Can Ever –
From our conception, no, even before we were formed, before our birth… He knew us, and He now- knows and loves us. His perspective of time is unlimited, ours is limited. His capacity for Love is also unlimited, ours is limited.
Please don’t make the common mistake of assuming that our human understanding of time, or more importantly, of Love is anywhere close to His reality, His Love.
He is, and His Love is, far beyond our capacity to understand. Remember we don’t understand the wind, (I don’t even understand how my computer works! But I know it does! Well, usually and I don’t need to understand it to benefit from it!) Nor do I need to understand the wind to enjoy its refreshment or appreciate its power.
Yet, He has always loved you and me. And always will. Always- Forever… Eternally… though we cannot fully understand, we can still believe and trust.
Father, help us to glimpse, to taste and see, to increasingly come to understand, the incredible depth of Your Immeasurable Love for us, which is shown so clearly through the Cross. You have always loved us, and You always will.
