Today’s Encouragement is Romans 3:23-24 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
Makes Us Right –

How is this possible? We are worthy and we are unworthy?
If we have any degree of honesty within us, we must admit… we are sinful creatures. We are truly unworthy of anything good. We certainly aren’t worthy of being loved, by anyone, much less by the pure and holy God!
But God – while we were yet sinners (Rom.5:8), sent Jesus to make us new, and righteous; He “makes us right”. This is not God’s blindness, He doesn’t ignore our sin, but because of Jesus’ complete cleansing of all who believe, God looks at us, and sees us covered by, wrapped in, and clothed (Gal.3:27) by Jesus. Friends, this is our complete restoration to our sinless state in Eden! In perfect relationship, sinless, and unashamed, walking in the garden with God. Because it is Jesus, Himself, who determines our worth!
Father God, we acknowledge our unworthiness, and we also, now, accept our infinite worth and value as Your redeemed people, solely because of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, that You have made us right through Christ.
