Today’s Encouragement is Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Power to Understand –
Before we are saved, before we accept His free gift of salvation, and before we surrender ourselves to Him… We have almost no understanding of God’s Love.
As we learn and are told of His great Love, we begin to have just a tiny glimpse of His immense Love. But it is enough! Enough for us to say Yes! To accept Him and His Amazing Love.
Then, as we mature in Faith, as established believers, it is only later that we learn more of how deep and wide His Love is. And when this occurs, each step
in our Faith journey will bring us to a clearer understanding of His Great Love. This is spiritual growth, a growing appreciation for the Love He has for us, for Who He Is, for What He has done! And for what He has prepared for us (1 Cor. 2:9)
How amazing is his Love! We cannot comprehend! But He reveals more and more, as we seek him! And this brings us to Completeness!
Father, we thank You that You are far greater than we currently understand and that in our faith journey with You, we are always learning more of Who You Are, and of Your Immeasurable Love for us!
