Today’s Encouragement is Romans 11:36 ESV For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
All Things –
“All Things” are addressed in many other verses and contexts, a few are:
John 1:3 ESV All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Romans 8:28 ESV And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:32 ESV He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Colossians 1:17 ESV
And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Philippians 4:13 ESV
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
It can be very enlightening to see different perspectives on an idea, a word or phrase, throughout the scriptures.
All things means … everything! Good or bad, happy or sad, physical or mental, emotional or ordinary, birth and death, joy or sorrow, tangible or spiritual, minor details or major issues… all things!
All things are:
From Him
Through Him
To Him,
Made through (by) Him,
Work together for our good,
He will graciously give to us,
Are after Him,
Are held together by Him.
And we can do all things through Christ!
Pretty amazing stuff!
But this is who He is!!!
Father, please help us to recognize Your presence, power, and purpose in All Things!
