Pray about Everything

Today’s Encouragement is Philippians 4:6 NLT “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.”

Pray about everything-

One way to apply this wonderful scripture in our lives is to pray every time we find ourselves beginning to worry.  However, Gods word is not limited to one application, it is living and alive (Heb 4:12), so it applies to the good times as well as times of worry, to rejoicing and mourning, to all times and circumstances!

The Word also tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:17).

Please don’t fall into self-judgement here, “I don’t pray enough… I’m just a lousy Christian…” rather, learn from Him…

We can be in constant contact and relationship with God through prayer.

Today’s verse says, “pray about everything”!  He is with us, His Spirit dwells within us!  Pray, Talk to Him, Listen to Him.  He is always with us (Matt 28:20).  We can choose to develop a living, growing relationship with Him, by praying – always – about everything!

No degree needed, to special gift or calling needed.  Prayer is always available and unlimited. It is God’s designated tool for our loving relationship with Him!

Our Loving Father is always delighted to hear from His children! He always loves us! And as we pray continuously, about everything… we grow closer to Him!  And His Peace! (see v7) His Peace will guard our hearts and minds!

Father You are so good to us! Help us to pray always, to speak to You and listen to You… and with thankful hearts, always!  You are the source of everything good.  Help us to grow ever closer to You.

Pray about everything
