Today’s Encouragement is Psalm 86:7 NLT “I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me.”
Whenever I am in trouble-
We can approach God in prayer; go to Him, anytime, anywhere. He is Omnipresent (everywhere at all times) regardless of our circumstances, He is available to us.
Yet we too often look elsewhere! Especially when we are in trouble, we look to family or friends, lawyers, doctors, the options are endless.
I’m not saying we should refuse the help of any of these, but my friends, who else is Omnipotent (all-powerful) and who knows everything (Omniscient), including how everything should go?
Wouldn’t it be wise to seek God’s help First? To call out in prayer when we are in trouble, and continuously, even while taking full advantage of the help of His people, those who have the God-given skills we may need.
And we have confidence that He will answer us, Psalm 86:13 NLT “for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death.” He is our perfect loving Father. He is also Omnibenevolent, (all-Good, loving, kind); He loves us so much He gave us Jesus.
God Can, He Will – Hear and Answer!
Help us Father, to remember that, because You love us, we can call out to You, First and always, when we are in trouble. Jesus, You are our only true Savior!
