Today’s Encouragement is 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
A new creation-
In Romans 8:18-25 Paul speaks of a time when all of creation will be made new.
The idyllic creation of Eden, of Genesis, is now stained, corrupted by the Sin of mankind…
Scripture tells us that God isn’t finished yet! Not YET! But, one day “all creation will be set free from its visage to corruption” (Rom 8:21).
Likewise, my friends, we too, as believers in Christ, are set free from our bondage to corruption! We are already, now! New Creations!
And in the same manner as the physical re-creation of the entire world, we, the children of God, who were once under the curse of Eden’s sin, now set free, and now new creations (2 Cor 5:17) and YET… God’s still not finished with us! Not YET! …
Consider 1 John 3:2a NLT Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears.
He has not yet shown us!
Not YET!
What we will be like!!!
When Christ appears….
Friends… there is still YET… more to come!!!
Father, we know so little now, and yet you’ve already revealed so much… help us to continue to Trust You today, for every tomorrow, to Trust that you aren’t finished, that our story isn’t over YET, and that You are still re-creating us!
